Village Election - Important Information & Dates

OFFICES TO BE FILLED                  ELECTION DAY - JUNE 17TH

     Mayor - 4 year term                               Don't Forget to Vote!

     Village Justice - 4 year term

IMPORTANT DATES: 

Pursuant to Article 15 of the Election Law 

May 6th - First Day to file Independent Nominating Petition.* (Section 15-108(8)(a), no earlier than 42 days before general village election)

May 13th - Last Day to File Independent Nomination Petition. (Section 15-108(8)(a), no later than 35 days before general village election)

June 6th - Last Day to Register with the County Board of Elections to be Eligible to Vote in the Village Election on June 17th.

June 10th - Last day for Village Clerk to receive application for absentee ballot which is to be mailed to  qualified voter. 

June 16th - Last day for Village Clerk to receive personal application for absentee ballot, from applicant or applicant's agent.  

June 17th - Village Election 12:00 noon - 9:00 p.m. @ 906 Dune Road, WHD
